‘Photocopy’ Leads Winners at 11th Oran International Arab Film Festival

Cairo, August, 2018: After it was crowned Best Film in the first edition of El Gouna Film Festival, ‘Photocopy’ scored two more awards at the 11th Oran International Arab Film Festival; with Haitham Dabbour receiving an award for best script and Shereen Reda honored for her great performance in the film.

Cairo, August, 2018: After it was crowned Best Film in the first edition of El Gouna Film Festival, ‘Photocopy’ scored two more awards at the 11th Oran International Arab Film Festival; with Haitham Dabbour receiving an award for best script and Shereen Reda honored for her great performance in the film.

 

The winners of 11th Oran International Arab Film Festival include: Yasmine Chouikh’s feature film ‘Until The End Of Time’ which won the Golden Wihr Award and ‘Wajib’ by Palestinian Director Annemarie Jacir which won the Jury Prize Award. ‘Cargo’ by Karim Rahbany was awarded the Golden Wihr in the Short Film category. While ‘Taste Of Cement’ by Syrian director Ziad Kalthoum was announced Best Documentary.

 

Tunisian actress Amira Chebli won Best Actress for her role in ‘Tunis By Night’, while the Best Actor award went to Palestinians Mohamed and Salah Bekri for their roles in ‘Wajib’.
