El Gouna Film Festival announces the opening of accreditation applications for its 9th edition, set to take place from October 15 to 23, 2026. Applications are open to filmmakers and cinema industry professionals, journalists, photographers, radio and television correspondents, online media editors, correspondents from news agencies and both Arab and international press, public relations agents for films screening at the festival, and students.
In this context, the festival announces the launch of an Early Bird accreditation period for the industry badges at a discounted rate, running from August 26 to September 6, 2026.
In addition to film screenings, accreditation badges grant access to a wealth of opportunities, including panel discussions, specialized workshops, masterclasses with renowned cinema experts, and networking events with local and international production and distribution companies, hosted at the “CineGouna Market.”
The Previous edition of the festival has welcomed around 6,700 filmmakers, distributors, sales agents, and cinephiles, alongside hundreds of journalists from Egypt, the region, and around the world. The festival has garnered extensive media coverage, generating thousands of articles and reports, as well as visual and audio features across leading international platforms.
