The Man Who Sold His Skin, Josep and The Girl with a Bracelet Win at the 26th  Lumières Awards

In a televised ceremonial event, the recipients of the 26th Lumières Foreign Press Awards were announced with 3 GFF film alumni among the winners.

After it was named Best Arab Film at the 4th edition of GFF; Kaouther Ben Hania’s The Man Who Sold His Skin received the Best International Co-production award. Also from GFF’s 4th edition, Aurel’s Josep won the Best Animation Film award and the Best Music award was presented to singer and musician Sílvia Pérez Cruz for her work on the film. Stéphane Demoustier’s The Girl with a Bracelet, which screened during the 3rd edition of GFF, received the award for Best Script.

The Lumières Foreign Press Awards, which are presented to honor the best in French speaking cinema and are voted on by a number of international correspondents from over 40 countries, are considered France’s equivalent of the Golden Globes.
