Christian Jeune has been working with the Cannes Film Festival since 1989. He’s the head of the film department and deputy to the General Delegate and is in charge of the preselection and selection processes. Since 2000, he has been traveling every year to Asian and other countries to visit filmmakers’ communities and scout new films. He has served on many film festival juries, including Busan, Tokyo, Bangkok, Taipeh, and Macao. In parallel, he translated more than 100 films from English to French.
