What are the must-dos on how to apply to festivals, and how to best maximize the opportunity to network, to promote your film, to leverage the publicist and to create future collaborations? Festivals have always played a de facto distribution role - is this statement still valid with the rise of VOD platforms such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and others?
