In this presentation, Lindsay Sloane will talk about the creative development process of Hulu series The Handmaid’s Tale. She will share with the audience her personal experiences during the planning and production stages of the show, enriched with inside stories, fun facts and trivia. The presentation will cover the entire history of the series, starting from its development with MGM rights, all the way until its outstanding success at the 69th Emmy Awards. It will touch on the 1990 film based on the novel by Margaret Atwood, as well as the involvement of producers Danny Wilson and Fran Sears. Lindsay Sloane Is The Senior Executive Vice President and Head of Scripted TV Development at MGM Studios. She currently oversees the multiple Emmy Award-winning show The Handmaid's Tale on Hulu. She previously worked at TriStar, and prior to that, she was co-head of drama at the Fox Network
