In his Creating Worlds Through VFX master class, Meena Ibrahim will talk about how one builds the imaginary world of HBO's His Dark Materials, bringing the creatures to life, as well as the role of virtual production in achieving groundbreaking visual effects. Meena Ibrahim is an award-winning animation supervisor currently working at Framestore studios. After studying filmmaking at Vancouver Film School, Meena has brought his expertise to blockbusters such as Spider-Man: Homecoming and Hotel Transylvania 2 and 3, as well as Thor: Ragnarok and Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. He won an Annie Award for his work on HBO/BBC's His Dark Materials. He is currently working on DC's upcoming The Suicide Squad, directed by James Gunn
