His directorial credits include Daniel and Ana (2009), After Lucia (2012), A los ojos (2014), Chronic (2015) which won best screenplay at Cannes Film Festival, April‘s Daughter (2017) and New Order (2020), which received the Silver Lion Grand Jury Prize at the 2020 Venice Film Festival.
