About the film
A few kilometres from Jerusalem is the Hizma checkpoint. Tensions have been high here for decades and the controls are extremely strict. A small mistake can cost a lot. Mohammed, a young Palestinian with a temporary Polish identity card, is trying to get through the Israeli checkpoint to meet his mother. The kind taxi driver Farouk gives him a lift, not knowing that he has already tried to cross another checkpoint and been turned back. Farouk is also in a hurry to get to an important meeting but they are stopped and, locked in the car, they wait for the final decision.
