About the film

In a comedic take on the Gaza War, a married Palestinian couple's efforts to share intimate moments are continuously thwarted by the disruptive noise of Israeli shelling, adding a humorous twist to their attempts at connection.

Director

Arab Nasser, Tarzan Nasser

Identical twin filmmakers Tarzan and Arab (Ahmed and Mohamed Abu Nasser), born in Gaza in 1988, honed their craft amid the closure of cinemas in 1987. Mentored by Gazan filmmaker Khalil Al Mozian, they worked for four years in Gaza’s avant-garde film industry. In 2010, they were honored with the A.M. Qattan Foundation’s Young Artist of the Year Award for their conceptual artwork Gazawood, featuring mock-Hollywood posters inspired by real Israeli military offensives on Gaza, alongside their short film, Colorful Journey.
