Loulwa, seeking her first kiss, defies her tumultuous world and navigates Beirut's chaos. Her pursuit of normalcy leads to a sudden leap into adulthood as her world explodes into a redefined “normal”.

Nay Tabbara
Nay Tabbara is a Lebanese filmmaker based between Beirut and New York. She is a recent MFA in Filmmaking graduate from NYU Tisch School. Nay worked as an assistant director on numerous award-winning pictures, including The Insult by Ziad Doueiri (2017 Academy Award nominee). Nay is a 2021 Sundance Institute Uprise and Doha Film Institute grantee for her short film Ebb & Flow, which premiered at Tribeca Festival in 2024 and received the Student Visionary Award.
