About the film

Trapped by starvation, a Palestinian teenager's attempt to get a sack of flour leads to detention and forced displacement. He is separated from his family and must endure a fifteen-month journey from north to south Gaza.

Muhammad Al Sharif

Muhammad Al Sharif, based in Gaza, Palestine,  holds a degree in Business Administration and a diploma in Filmmaking. He is both an actor and a director, known for the short film Min Wen Lawen, the animated film Shobak Al-Balad, and his role in Chi Ann Blaze of Fury. He has undergone extensive training in acting, cinematography, and film production.

In war-torn northern Gaza, seventeen-year-old Hassan’s desperate attempt to bring a sack of flour to his starving family ends in tragedy. He is detained for four days, then forced into a fifteen-month journey of displacement to the south. He navigates a landscape of overcrowded shelters, constantly searching for food and a safe place to rest. Meanwhile, his family is shattered, with his younger brother lost before his expulsion and his father dying during the journey. Hassan holds on to the hope of reuniting with his mother and sister, the only family he has left.
