About the film

When life becomes unbearable after years of suffering from domestic violence by her husband Dante; Joy, a mother of a four-year-old girl, finally decides to stand up for herself by filing a case against him. When she is yet again humiliated during the police procedure, she comes to the conclusion that the system in her country shames women for being abused and discovers that this will be a difficult battle to win.
