Farah Shaer is a Lebanese director, writer, editor, and actress with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and another one in radio, television and film from the American University in Beirut. While Shaer is known for her socio-political activism, she has also received recognition for her films Heaven Without People (2017), Obedience (2017), and Faces in the Sun (2019), earning her several prizes and nominations around the world.
