Mads Mengel

Mads Mengel (b. 1990, Denmark) grew up in Alken, a small town in Jutland, and graduated from the National Film School of Denmark in 2019. His acclaimed final thesis film, “For Juliane”, was Danish Academy Award-nominated. He later directed the DR series “My Different Ways” (2020), also Academy Award-nominated, and “Supplex” (Viaplay/SkyShowtime, 2024), nominated for Best Fiction Series at the Danish TV Awards. “The Guest” is his feature debut.
