Guillaume de Seille was born in 1968 and studied civil engineering. After writing/directing two award-winning short films, he worked for 10 years for Canal+ in the cinema department (presales of French and European films), in addition to working as a commissioning editor for a couple of years within the short film department of Canal+, and as artistic producer for French public broadcaster France 2. An independent producer since 2000, he has produced or co-produced more than 50 international arthouse feature films that have been selected at many major festivals. He is also mentoring several development platforms around the world, such as B’Est, Ties That Bind, Wroclaw Studio, Cannes Résidence, and ArrasDays.
