Khairy Bishara

Born in Tanta in 1947 and working in the film industry since the 1970s, he is also one of the directors who have defined the concept of new realism in Egyptian cinema since the 1980s. Bishara graduated from the Higher Institute of Cinema in 1967, then traveled to Warsaw on a two-year fellowship. Bechara began his film career with a focus on documentaries, before completing his first feature film "Bloody Destinies" in a joint production collaboration with Algeria in 1982. During his career, he directed 13 feature films, which have been screened at numerous international film festivals and won numerous awards. His films include: "Blackjack No. 70" 1982, "Ring and Bracelet" 1986, "Yom Murr and Yom Hilou" 1988, "Crabia" 1990, "Desire Wild" 1991, "Ice Cream in Glim" 1992 and "America Chica Pica" 1993 And the 1995 Traffic Sign.
