Director

Amr Salama

Amr Salama, a Saudi-born filmmaker based in Egypt, started in short films and commercials before moving on to feature films. In 2008, he debuted with Zay El Naharda. His work, like Excuse My French" and Asmaa, earned acclaim and festival awards. Sheikh Jackson opened the first El Gouna Film Festival in 2017. In 2019, he directed the Netflix series Paranormal. He's also a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
