Cairo, Egypt; 4 July, 2018 – El Gouna Film Festival is now accepting applications for accreditation for the 2nd edition of CineGouna Platform (CGP), its filmmakers/industry-oriented event, created with the objective of nurturing and strengthening promising Egyptian and Arab cinema projects & filmmakers and to help them find artistic and financial support. The activities of the CGP will take place in El Gouna from September 22 – 27, 2018.

The CineGouna Platform is composed of two programmes:  CineGouna Bridge, a meeting point and a forum for dialogue between different cinematic voices that serves as a link between filmmakers from the Arab world and their international counterparts, and CineGouna SpringBoard, a project development and a co-production lab.

El Gouna Film Festival, within which the CGP activities will be held, takes place from September 20 to 28, 2018.

Accredited industry professionals receive free access to CineGouna SpringBoard pitch sessions and awards ceremony; in addition to CineGouna Bridge masterclasses, panel discussions, and workshops led by international and regional industry leaders. They may also attend film screenings (subject to seat availability of seating).

Applications for CGP accreditation are accepted from July 2, 2018 till September 10, 2018.
