El Gouna Film Festival has closed the submission for the development stage of

the 6th edition of the CineGouna Platform

This program is dedicated to supporting Arab film projects in the development stage that are set to take place during the 6th edition of the festival between October 13th and 20th of this year.

CineGouna has received a record breaking number of 113 projects for feature and documentary films in the development stage, which is the highest number of submissions received to date since the inception of El Gouna Film Festival.

From those submissions, a number of projects will be selected to participate in the Cinegouna Platform and compete for its offered awards. Additionally, the platform provides opportunities for development, learning, and the establishment of artistic and financial partnerships for the selected projects and their creators.

Moreover, CineGouna will be accepting films in the post-production stage until August 1st.
