Venice Days, the independent film festival section of Venice International Film Festival has announced the award winners of its 17th edition, and we are happy to announce that three of GFF’s  2020 feature narrative line-up scooped the top three awards.

Director Philip Yuryev received the GdA Director’s Award for his film The Whaler Boy, the Europa Cinemas Label award went to Oasis by Ivan Ikić, and Ameen Nayfeh’s 200 Meters won the BNL People’s Choice Award.

We are also thrilled to announce that Kaouther Ben Hania’s The Man Who Sold His Skin is the recipient of the Edipo Re Inclusion Award of the 77th Venice International Film Festival.

We look forward to welcoming all four films in the feature narrative competition of the 4th edition of GFF.
