About the Film

After failing once and missing the last admission pass the second time; Antoine, who is about to take the preparation exam for medical school for the third time, is joined by Benjamin, who will make his first attempt. They soon realize that life as students is not going to be a walk in the park. In a fiercely competitive environment with days spent in classrooms and nights dedicated to revising rather than partying, the two will have to make compromises for their friendship and find balance for a tough life today and an easier life tomorrow.

Thomas Lilti

Thomas Lilti, born in 1976, is a French film director who originally studied medicine and worked as a doctor. He made his directorial debut with his 2006 film Folded Eyes, then wrote two screenplays for the films Télé Gaucho (2012) and Marriage in Mendoza (2014). Starting from his second feature film Hippocratis: Diary of a French Doctor (2014), we can see the influence his background in medicine has on his films, which have been nominated for many prestigious prizes, including several César awards.
