About the Film

It is a long love story between a woman and a man, told through their memories, which are deeply altered by different moods, perpectives and time itself. Over the course of the film, both of them learn about love, exhaustion, betrayal, and the relativity of recollections.

Director

Valerio Mieli

After earning a degree in philosophy from the Sapienza University of Rome, Valerio Mieli studied at Columbia University and started a doctorate at the University of Eastern Piedmont. He went on to graduate with a degree in directing from the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia. His, directorial debut, Dieci inverni / Ten Winters (2009), starring Isabella Ragonese and Michele Riondino, won the Silver Ribbon award, the Ciak d’oro, and a David di Donatello (Italian BAFTA) for best first film. His eponymous novel was published by Rizzoli. In 2013, Rome’s Casa del Cinema hosted a solo show of Mieli’s photographs. Ricordi? (2018, GFF), which he wrote and directed, is his second film.
